1. At the Customer field, enter the customer code or customer mask. Or, enter "//////" to add a price exception for all customers.

A Select A Pricing Exception window will appear with the following options:
Scroll to the price exception that needs to be changed and press Enter to select.
Note: If a specific customer ID code was entered, (i.e. ANTH00) you will be unable to select an exception from the window that is applicable to "//////" customers. To modify the pricing exceptions that apply to all customers, enter '//////' as the customer code.
The customer and item mask for a pricing exception cannot be changed if entered incorrectly. Delete the incorrect record and re-enter.
2. Command options will appear:
Select Change.
3. If the price exception selected applies to a customer mask or all customers a Select A Price Class window will appear. Scroll to the price class for the price exception and press Enter to select or select EXIT if you do not need to make changes to the Price Class field.
4. Make the appropriate changes to the remaining fields. Press the Enter, Tab, Page Down, or arrow keys to move through remaining fields.
Note: To change a fixed amount per unit exception to either a percentage or a fixed price, enter 0 in the fixed amount field to gain access to the other two fields.
5. Command options will appear:
Note: Remember, pricing exceptions are cumulative and multiple exceptions can apply to the same customer and item.
To view which price exceptions are being used to calculate a particular item price, use the Pricing Exceptions Inquiry.
Pricing exceptions can only be entered for items designated as P (P=product type) or C (C=carton type). Price exceptions cannot be entered for other-type items.
The price exception capability is limited to 50 pricing exceptions per customer or customer mask.
